A hole will be dug that is bigger than the root ball. The tree will be planted into the hole and then backfilled with soil. (When backfilling, the nursery mark of the tree will not be submerged below the soil.) The tree will then be twin staked with two ties. Mulch will be added to the tree pit to minimise water loss and prevent weed growth.
